The IBA has always been known for its impartiality and the excellence of its judges, referees, and supervisors worldwide. Inspired by the influence of the illustrious Steve Smoger, they carry the rich legacy of 1990s USA boxing, an era when legends of the sport were made.
Becoming a registered official with the IBA requires excellent ability and a strong CV, and it is no easy task, as it also requires a vote from the global board. However, once the door is opened, it signifies a lifelong membership in the great family of professional boxing.
