October 5th could mark a historic day as the first Tanzanian boxer may be crowned IBA champion, a milestone in Tanzania\\’s boxing history. Over the years, many Tanzanians have fought for IBA titles abroad, but none have succeeded in securing the championship.
\nIBA Vice President St\u00e9phane Cabrera will travel to Dar es Salaam to meet with the promoters and boost the organization, which is undoubtedly one of the most prolific in the country. This visit will also be an opportunity to meet with the national commission and Mr. Emmanuel Mlundwa, Tanzania\\’s supervisor and a legendary figure in African boxing, as well as a former champion.
